On first start
The current builds are not yet signed with Apple and Microsoft, so both systems warn when you first open them. On Windows, click "More info" in the SmartScreen window, then "Run anyway". On macOS, after the first attempt a button "Open Anyway" appears in System Settings under "Privacy & Security". Both are needed once.
The program connects to our server exactly once, to exchange the activation code for a licence. Card data does not leave the computer for that, and afterwards it runs fully offline.
How to get a code
Write us a short note saying who you are and how many drivers you analyse. You get an activation code for 14 days with nothing switched off. If you want to carry on afterwards, we extend the same code or issue a new one.
If something goes wrong at start-up, write to us with the fingerprint the program shows in the licence window. Then we can see what happened.
